Paolo Rossi was Italy’s hero in the World Cups 1978 and 1982. His career and goalscoring gifts were not as shining with Juventus, as Pablito had serious injuries to both his knees that hampered his game. He had started as a teenager with Juventus, but was sold to Vicenza at 19, and later moved to Perugia. Juventus bought him back in 1982, just before Italy’s World Cup 1982 victory. He played 3 seasons with Juve, before moving for one season to Milan, then Verona and retired at 31.
